Our Communities

OII Community Voices

The Ontario Integration Initiative proudly works with Black African and Caribbean (BAC) communities, 2SLGBTQI+ individuals, and Indigenous peoples to amplify voices, address systemic inequities, and promote cultural safety. These communities face ongoing barriers in healthcare, education, housing, and access to equitable opportunities. OII’s work is grounded in the lived experiences of these communities and driven by peer-led engagement.
